Best US 100 mile trail run ??

Hi all. Would welcome any suggestions on what is the "best" US 100 trail run. looking to travel for a race in 2012 and looking at best run for the $$ in getting over to US. Ok on rough ground and at distance and hills don't scare me (famous last words). Would prefer scenery and less hype over the more established popular runs. Thanks

You should look into the Western States 100 or the Leadville 100. Western States is a hard race to get into, and it's the championship of 100s. It starts in Sqaw Valley, North Lake Tahoe. Goes over the summit and ends in Auburn. Good luck and Happy Running.
