How do I go about training for a 50 miler? I have limited time, and I want to see what would be the best type of schedule for getting ready for this race. suggestions?

A lot is going to depend on where you are at currently. How much of a running base do you have? The goal with limited time is going to be to really balance training volume and recovery time.

There are many diferent plans. Hal Higdon has a few on line. I have recently used Tom Holland's MARATHON METHOD book to gain some insights.
I ran my first 50 miler 2 weeks after a regular marathon. That seemed to be the perfect work up and taper for me. You will have to find what is going to work for you.
Good Luck

whatever is good for you man. It took me months of training to get up to a 50 miler.
