I haven't run a race in over 10 years and I was thrilled that I performed well in this race. I came in third in my age division. It was all uphill until the turn around and then downhill. The prizes were plentiful and the food was excellent. My five year old son even took part in the 2.5k around the lake and he did awesome!! Next year I'll do the 25k, since the 12k was very doable and enjoyable.
