This is an out-and-back race (50 miles each way) in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Determination. Guts. Insanity. If you don’t have them, stop reading now. This is it: the race of all races. 100 miles across the high-altitude, extreme terrain of the Colorado Rockies. The majority of the route is on forested trails, with some mountain roads. The highest point is Hope Pass at 12,600 feet.
