Runners have a choice of of 8K, 25K and 50K; all distances feature steep climbs and quad-busting descents. 25 and 50K runners climb to the summit of Mt. Diablo at 3849 ft. 50K runners do the 25K loop twice, making 8,900 ft of elevation gain total. Beautiful single track and dirt roads offers amazing views throughout, but in June, runners should be aware that temps on Diablo can reach the 90s.
