The OBXultramarathon is North Carolina's first Outer Banks 50k distance Ultra Marathon. The race is scheduled for May 5, 2012. The race is offered in only one distance this year, a 50k minimalist run from Currituck Beach Lighthouse to a designated spot along the coast (adjacent the Wright Brother's
Monument in Kill Devil Hills, NC). In the future I hope to offer a 50 Mile from Currituck Beach Lighthouse to the Bodie Island Lighthouse. Please check us out at www.obxultramarathon.com !
