The Woodside Trail race will be run completely on private single-track hiking and mountain trails. Runners will travel through gorgeous Huddart County Park on a course surrounded by lush ferns and redwoods, and they will be rewarded with fantastic views of King's Mountain, Wunderlich Park, and Bear Gulch.

This race is focused on personal achievement and enjoyment, not competition. Race organizers promise that the event will be stocked with quality aid stations and friendly volunteers. There will be a soup and chili luncheon immediately following the race.
