Sponsored by Keystone Trails Association, the Trail Challenge is choose-your-own challenge event--pick either a 25k or 50 course.It takes place in the scenic lower Susquehanna Gorge. Traversing both sides of the Susquehanna River in York and Lancaster Counties, the route has steep hills, rocky terrain and deep ravines making for a challenging course for hikers and runners alike.

The 50k course starts at Pequea Creek Campground, and participants depart at 7am. The 25k course starts at Susquehannock State Park, with participants starting at 8am. The finish line for both challenges is Otter Creek Campground. Buses will be provided to shuttle participants from the finish line back to their respective starting line. Cost is $95 for the 50k, and $65 for the 25k. Registration covers the cost of the race, a participant t-shirt, finisher's medallion, and a catered picnic at the finish line. Restrooms, snacks, and drinks will be provided at checkpoints along the route as well.
