Details
A short drive west of Atlanta brings you to Clinton Nature Preserve's beautiful trails. You'll be treated to some cool breezes down by the creek, but don't worry you won't miss any of your heat acclimation training as you power over rock outcroppings that remind of Stone Mountain.
This is the perfect race for 10Kers and Ultramarathoners. The 10Ker gets out of the concrete jungle and beat the heat with a trail run. The Ultramarathoners get a heat acclimation long run to prep for those August monsters waiting for you. The most adventurous among us will strap on a pack and enter the unsupported fastpack division for the 39K.
All proceeds from the race benefit Boy Scout Troop 39. The boys from Troop 39 will be out all day showing participants the meaning of Scout Spirit at each aid station. Each award, hand made by the Boy Scouts, has distinct outdoor character.
