A trail marathon in the heart of the Raleigh-Durham area. You won’t believe you are just minutes from the busy city streets. Enjoy running among the trees of beautiful Umstead Park. Now in our 16th year, we are still focused on providing a great experience for all runners who sign up.
The course is a mix of single track and wide bridle trails. The single track portion is approximately five miles. Expect well-stocked aid stations with water, energy drink, energy gels, and real food.
