Course information from Ron Brower, Race Director:

The Taylorsville 6-12-18 is at almost exactly 800 ft altitude, with very
little change in elevation since it follows a riverbed. There is an
occasional descent into or out of a gully, steep enough that one must
climb out--yet nothing exceeds even the height of a person. (Ohio is
not known for dramatic changes in elevation.)

The park authority is resting part of the trail, so we will have an
8-16 format this year, consisting of two or four repetitions of the same
4-mile loop. The trail includes the ruins of the village of
Tadmor--once the busy crossroads of the National Road and the Miami-Erie
Canal. However, the village is long gone, and Nature has retaken the
area.
