Here in Austin,I like to run at Walnutcreek park.Bartoncreek and sometime Lake Georgetown.
Lake Georgetown has the fewest people on the trails.

I may be the last trail runner in the SA/Austin area to hear of this book, but found it to be very useful.

I tend to check out mountain biking web sites to find trails.

I second that Ultrarunner! I visited family this past weekend in Bryan, Texas and had the pleasure of running Lake Bryan. If you're ever in the area, it's DEFINITELY worth the visit.

UltrarunnerP, I've done the same, checking out the biking websites. I also have found horse trails to be good. I use MotionBased.com to map all runs with my Garmin, and have used the same site to attempt to find trails. Not much there for my neck of the woods, but would be willing to bet there would be more for other parts of the country!
