Heiko's Hellish Half trail race is not for the faint of heart. Competitors get to race along one of the top rated trails in Fernie. At roughly 25-K, over 4000ft of gain and a mile of decent it is indeed one hellish undertaking. And this isn't at sea level, no no, we're talking topping out at 7,500 ft.
