The Inaugural Olde Girdled Grit 50K, Marathon & Half Marathon will take place in the beautiful Lake Metroparks on Saturday, February 20, 2016.
Runners start from the Environmental Learning Center and travel through 3 parks while covering either 13.1, 26.2 or 31.1 miles. The layout is a 2 mile trail loop, 9 mile trail loop, and an out and back on 2 miles of road that connects the trails. The course consists of a suspension bridge, wooden bridges, steps and hills.
