Nasty 9 Trail Run

Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017 is the inaugural Nasty 9 Trail Run at Brushy Hills, a 600 acre watershed tract on the outskirts of Lexington, VA, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Brushy Hills is home to miles of trails, lovingly developed and maintained by the Friends of Brushy Hills. Choose from two race distances, a challenging nine mile course with 2000+ feet of vertical gain and a 3-4 mile course with ~500 feet of climbing. 100% of both courses will be on the awesome single-track trails.

Details

The race will serve as a fund raiser for the Friends of Brushy Hills and an area food pantry, the Rockbridge Area Relief Association (RARA). The groups will share equally in the race proceeds. In addition, participants are encouraged to bring canned goods and other non-perishable food items to donate on race day.
