The OBXultramarathon is North Carolina's first Outer Banks 50k distance Ultra Marathon. This race is scheduled for the first Saturday in May each year. The race is offered in only one distance this year, a 50k minimalist run from Currituck Beach Lighthouse to a designated spot along the coast (adjacent the Wright Brother's
Monument in Kill Devil Hills, NC). In the future I hope to offer a 50 Mile. Please check us out at www.obxultramarathon.com !
