I plan to run around Mt. Hood next month and I'm curious if my time goals are reasonable.
The route is around 40 miles with 10k of gain and loss. I'm thinking under 12 hours is doable.
For reference I recently ran a 46.6 mile training run in 10 hours (6k of gain and loss at seal level). The trail wasn't very technical and is mostly runnable.
Any tips or insight about the route is greatly appreciated as I haven't been able to find many blogs about running this route. It's mostly multi-day hikers.
