Join the excitement as the inaugural series will consist of three (3) events based out of the Atlanta area (Athens 2). Each race has something different to offer and as a matter of fact, you will come to know why we follow the creed 'Ditch the City'. Register for one, two or all three Atlanta races!

February 2nd, 2008 XTERRA Trail Race - "Runnin The Rocks" - Conyers, Ga. 10K

March 1st, 2008 XTERRA Trail Race - "Thrill In The Hills" - Fort Yargo State Park, Winder, Georgia 13.1 Miles

May 31st, 2008 XTERRA Trail Race - "Deep South" - Dauset Trails, Jackson, Georgia 15K

Thanks for the info. The XTERRA race series started here in Utah I think last year -- but I haven't run any yet. It's nice to see more trail races starting up.

Are you by chance the director or helping with these races? Well, even if you're not ... you could still enter these races in the Trail Race database (http://www.backcountryrunner.com/trail_races/ ... click Add A Trail Race) and add more details and links.

I am the race director... last year we put on the "Thrill In The Hills" 1/2 marathon trail race at Fort Yargo (Race #2 in the series this year) and had a great turn out... had alot of inquiries for more trail races - hopefully the XTERRA Series will have a good following as well. I will get it posted in the trail race section as well.
