Hi all. I see that this forum has been dormant for a while, so I don't know if this will actually get read. :-)
A few months ago I started a "Ultra Wiki", basically to gather information about ultrarunning. The idea is to have a place that consolidates a wealth of information about ultrarunning.
The difference from other ultra information sites is that a wiki is collaborative. It is a collective effort. Anyone can add and edit information. As of now I have been the only one to edit, but one person isn't nearly enough to cover the vast world of ultrarunning. What's there so far is basically a definition, and many place holders for famous races, 100 milers in the US, famous ultrarunners.... sort of a skeleton, or template, where the information will go, but almost all of the information is still missing. Feel free to add and edit, add categories, information, more templates.... hopefully more people will start editing as time goes by.
I intend to keep working on it, but would love to see others start to add or edit information as well. Don't worry about messing up, because as an admin I have the ability to roll the wiki back to any previous state. So..... go do some damage!
