The Dirty South Half and Full Marathons traverse the Urban Wilderness area just a stone's throw south of Knoxville Tennessee. This mostly single track trail winds and weaves through forests and rolling hills, connecting multiple smaller trails. Both races loop around back to the finish. The Half Marathon sports one complete loop of the Urban Wilderness while the full Marathon utilizes the loop as well as dips further into the trail system.
